1. Chidori Control Plane Project: Faris Mohamed & Marwan Essam
Interns Faris Mohamed and Marwan Essam presented their design to streamline controls for customers, improve job metadata and resource management, and enhance all aspects of our job operations.
2. Cloud Storage and Data Destinations: Abdullah Fouad
Abdullah Fouad from the Extraction Team showcased his work integrating multiple cloud storage solutions, including GCS, ADLS, Box, AWS S3, and Oracle Cloud Applications.
3. AI-Driven Support Solutions: Hanya Khaled
Hanya Khaled’s demo showed how to leverages AI to provide dashboard insights, reduce ticket resolution time, and significantly improve overall customer satisfaction.
4. The Formula Copilot Project: Mohamed Elsherig & Ahmed Rustom
Mohamed Elsherif and Ahmed Rustom illustrated how their project generates and optimizes complex formulas, making data analysis easier and more insightful for our customers.
5. Cloud SRE Team Experience: Sarah Soliman
Sarah Soliman highlighted her learnings with the Cloud SRE Team, showing the importance of learning opportunities in operations and troubleshooting.
6. AI-Powered Troubleshooting for Spark: Mohamed Saeed
Mohamed Saeed presented how to make Spark error messages more understandable to improve the customer experience and overall productivity.
7. Streamlining DevOps: Farah Hossam
Farah Hossam presented her innovative strategies to enhance DevOps efficiency, focusing on improving build findability and pipeline scheduling.
8. Schema Load Job Visualization: Esraa Majed
Esraa Majed's presentation focused on her project that visualizes schema load jobs, making troubleshooting simpler and more intuitive.
9. Unity Catalog Project: Ziad Samer
Ziad Samer detailed his project that aims to provide centralized control and data discovery capabilities across Databricks workspaces.
10. Kyuubi Unity Catalog Integration: Somaia Fahkr & Abdelrahman Elsherif
Somaia Fahkr and Abdelrahman Elsherif's project focused on enhancing Kyuubi's capabilities by integrating it with our Unity Catalog.
11. Visual Component Development: Zakaria Kortam
Zakaria Kortam's demo included showing off visually appealing components developed using the Component SDK to improve data visualization and user experience.
