The Product Recall & Cost Analysis app turns a "this component is defective" alert into a full, evidence-backed investigation in minutes instead of hours. A quality or supply-chain manager can search for a defective item or lot, and the app automatically traces it through Oracle's manufacturing data — every job that consumed it, every finished-product lot it produced, however many production steps deep — and shows exactly which lots are confirmed affected, potentially affected, or clear.

For every affected lot, it computes real inventory exposure, manufacturing quantities, and financial value at risk, then assigns a deterministic Critical/High/Medium/Low risk score with a plain-language explanation for why. An executive summary keeps hard Oracle facts, AI-driven analysis, and recommended next steps clearly separated, so nothing is ever guessed or invented.
