Osama Elkady

CEO and Co-Founder

Osama has more than 25 years of enterprise software experience. Prior to co-founding Incorta, he was Vice President of Oracle Applications Development. For two decades Osama developed and helped bring to market Oracle’s enterprise applications and business intelligence tools. He holds multiple patents related to data management and has invented new approaches to mobile strategy and information discovery.

Klaus Fabian

CTO and Co-Founder

Klaus has more than two decades as a software developer and product manager. Klaus co-founded Incorta after more than a dozen years at Oracle where he was a director and developed Business Intelligence applications including BI Publisher. Klaus is a seasoned veteran of the analytics space. He started his career as a software developer in Germany. Klaus holds an advanced degree in computer science and an MBA from UC Berkeley.

Hichem Sellami

Vice President, Applications and Co-Founder

Hichem is a data warehouse and analytics expert and has design experience in a variety of industries, including project management, accounting, financial services, insurance, health services, pharmaceuticals, supply chain and human resources. Hichem spent nearly a decade at Oracle as an applications developer and software development director. Prior to Oracle, Hichem spent 7 years at Siebel and helped develop Siebel Analytics. He holds two master’s degrees and a PhD in Mathematics and Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Ziyad Dahbour


Ziyad has worked in enterprise data management for close to three decades, encompassing multiple roles ranging from engineering to consulting. Prior to joining Incorta, Ziyad led ILM engineering at Informatica which acquired TierData, a company he founded and at which he was CTO. Ziyad also was CTO and founder of OuterBay, which was acquired by HP. He started his career at Oracle where he held development and consulting roles focused on database and E-Business Suite.

Matthew Halliday

Chief Evangelist and Vice President, Pre-Sales

Equal parts engineer and enterprise salesman, Matthew earned his stripes at both Oracle and Microsoft in roles ranging from product development to sales. Matthew began his career as a software engineer at Oracle where he would spend 15 years in numerous roles including that of Applications Architect. Matthew talks about analytics like many people talk about their favorite sports team, and his twenty years of client-facing experience is critical to Incorta’s customers’ success.

Mike Rogers

Vice President, Sales

Mike channels his passion for connecting the masses with revolutionary, game-changing technology toward accelerating Incorta’s global growth and expansion. He leverages nearly 20 years experience selling complex technology to leading enterprises in still-developing markets to structure and optimize the company’s go-to-market approach, and coach and motivate Incorta’s enterprise sales team. Prior to Incorta, Mike held several sales management positions with security provider EMC/RSA and—most recently—led global sales and customer success for data privacy provider Ionic Security.

Steven Crofts

Vice President of Marketing

As the former owner and president of The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI), Steven leverages an extensive background in business intelligence (BI) and data analytics to evangelize Incorta’s revolutionary, no-data-warehouse platform to key industry influencers, prospects, partners, and customers. More than 20 years at TDWI and in various consultative roles armed Steven with valuable insights he taps for Incorta product positioning, product strategy, sales enablement, and branding initiatives. Prior to Incorta, Steven ran marketing and business development for a BI consultancy. 

Wael Fakharany

Vice President/General Manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Operations

Wael taps nearly 30 years of experience in technology sales and strategy to drive Incorta's EMEA go-to-market plans, including development of the company’s first international channel sales model. Prior to Incorta, Wael spent eight years with Google EMEA, where he held several senior-level roles: regional lead for Google X, a semi-secret technology division dedicated to making the world a better place by developing radical solutions—such as driverless cars—to today’s huge problems; head of Google Middle East and Africa; and head of Google Egypt. Before Google, Wael held channel and sales management roles with Oracle Egypt, IBM Egypt, and 3Com Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Karl Meyer

Vice President, Business Development

A recognized leader in driving transformational change at Fortune 100 companies, Karl focuses on building a robust, multi-faceted partner ecosystem comprised of technology partners with whom Incorta’s technology integrates; system integrators interested in embedding Incorta’s technology within their own solutions; and traditional go-to-market partners, such as resellers and distributors. Immediately prior to Incorta, Karl founded and grew the enterprise business development function at leading venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins, and before that drove the strategy behind Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s hybrid cloud and advanced analytics transformation areas.

Aran Nathanson

Vice President, Products

Aran channels an adventurous spirit and global experience to inspire and guide Incorta’s multi-national engineering team on the strategic iteration of the analytics platform. Before Incorta, Aran co-founded, bootstrapped, and built to $5 million in annual revenue the advanced report generation, distribution, and scheduling application Vizubi, which sold for a substantial profit to data analytics platform Qlik in 2014. Post-acquisition, Aran led product strategy for the former Vizubi product (renamed QlikView NPrinting), increasing its annual revenue by more than five times in its first year.

Ron Wohl

Board Member

Ron is a private investor and CEO of Nanoscale Components. His expertise is in enterprise technology development and innovation. He served as Executive Vice president at Oracle Corporation for 19 years, where he grew Oracle’s application business from a startup to $1.6 billion of revenue. Ron holds an AB and MBA from Harvard University.

Karim Faris

Board Member

Karim is a General Partner with GV (formerly Google Ventures) and leads its investments in enterprise software, data analytics, and security. He brings over a decade of operational and investment experience to his role. He initially joined Google’s corporate development team in 2008. Prior to Google, Karim was a venture capitalist at Atlas Venture, where he worked on investments in software and Internet infrastructure.

Ted Schlein

Board Member

Ted Schlein has been with Kleiner Perkins for over 20 years and focuses on early-stage technology companies in the enterprise software and infrastructure markets. Before joining KPCB, Ted served as vice president, Enterprise Solutions at Symantec. One of Symantec’s early employees, he played an instrumental role in the company’s growth and dominance as a global software leader.

    Professor of Computer Science, Purdue University

    Walid Aref is a professor of computer science at Purdue. His research interests are in extending the functionality of database systems in support of emerging applications. He also focuses on query processing, indexing, data streaming, and geographic information systems (GIS). Walid's research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Health, Purdue Research Foundation, Qatar National Research Foundation, CERIAS, Panasonic, and Microsoft Corp. He is the recipient of the CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation and Purdue University’s Faculty Scholar award. Walid is a senior member of the IEEE, and a member of the ACM. He received in BS and MS in Computer Science from Alexandria University, Egypt and his PhD from the University of Maryland.

    Marge is the Chief Marketing Officer at Ionic Security where she oversees all marketing, branding and market expansion disciplines. Prior to joining Ionic, Marge served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Informatica, Senior Vice President of Marketing Services at HP, Executive Vice President Worldwide Solutions and Industries at SAP (including Business Objects) and Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer at BEA. She also held business leadership roles at Sun Microsystems. Marge received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Oregon.

    Longtime Tech CFO and Bessemer Venture Partners Operating Partner

    Jeff has led financial operations for leading companies including Oracle Corp., Nielsen’s MMI Group, and DoubleClick. He currently is operating partner for Bessemer Venture Partners, a global venture capital firm that invests in enterprise, consumer, and healthcare technology startups. Jeff also serves as a board member and adviser for: Kaiser Permanente, one of the world’s largest healthcare companies; Shutterstock, a global marketplace for licensed imagery; Twillo, a developer platform for communication, and The Priceline Group, the world’s leader in online travel. In addition, Jeff lectures at Stanford University, where he teaches the lean startup methodology to engineers. Jeff holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Yale University, and an MBA from Stanford University.

    Prior to his role at Google, Anant was the CTO at Apigee, which was acquired by Google in September 2016. He joined Apigee from IBM where he was VP and CTO for IBM's Information Management Division. 

    He has received several awards including IBM Fellow, IIT Delhi Distinguished Alumnus Award, President's Gold Medal for highest GPA at IIT Delhi, IBM Academy of Technology, and has authored over a dozen patents and over 20 technical papers, including frequent keynotes in industry and academic conferences.

    Founder and CEO, Parallel Wireless

    Steve is CEO of Parallel Wireless which he founded in 2012. Previously he founded Endeca in 1999 and served as CEO through the company’s $1.1 billion acquisition by Oracle in 2011. Under Steve’s leadership, Endeca achieved $750 million in revenue and pioneered Guided Navigation, now an industry standard. Prior to founding Endeca, Steve was part of the original Akamai team and an early member of the Inktomi team. Steve has a BS from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

    Hasan Rizvi is the former Executive Vice President of Oracle Fusion Middleware and Java Products. He held multiple executive roles at Oracle including Vice President of Oracle Enterprise Manager, Vice President of Security and Identity Management and Director of OLTP Technologies. Prior to returning to Oracle in 2001, he was Vice President of Engineering for Corio, Inc. He has a MS in Computer Science from Rutgers University and an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University.

    Ken is Google’s Head of User Growth and Analytics. Before joining Google he led analytics at Facebook and served as VP of Analytics and Platform Technologies at Zynga.  Prior to these roles, Ken founded and was CEO of LucidEra, the company that pioneered the creation of the on-demand analytics market. Before founding LucidEra, he was VP and General Manager of Siebel CRM OnDemand and VP of Marketing for Siebel Analytics (now Oracle Analytics) at Siebel Systems. Ken additionally was co-founder and CEO of Emergent Corporation and began his career at Scalable Systems where he focused on large scale data warehouses. Ken holds a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University.

    An accomplished sales leader with twenty years of technology industry experience both domestically and internationally, Chris has a proven track record of taking companies from $10 million to $100 million-plus in revenue. 

    Chris has served as SVP of Sales and Business Development at several notable technology companies including VMTurbo, Veracode, and Endeca (acquired by Oracle).

    Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Saint Bonaventure University.

    Senior Vice President and CTO, HealthcareSource

    Bob is SVP and CTO at HealthcareSource where he leads information technology, engineering, product development, and platform integration strategy. Previously he served as Chief Technology Officer for Scribe Software, where was focused on expanding one of the industry’s leading Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) offerings. Prior to Scribe Software, Bob held executive leadership and product strategy roles at Epsilon, Oracle, and IBM, among others. He holds a BS from Keene State College.

Tim Barash, CFO - Toast
